Andorra Project: New Composting Plant and Environmental Education

By the end of June, we will launch the first organic waste treatment plant in Andorra, aimed at transforming waste into compost to be reused locally—promoting sustainable, localized management.

The plant will be located in a pristine natural setting and will be accompanied by educational activities in schools to foster environmental awareness from a young age.

This project has been made possible through the collaboration of the Comú de la Massana, Pirinenca de Serveis, and the Government of Andorra. It has also received strong support from local residents, who welcomed the initiative and are eager to process their organic and pruning waste into high-quality compost.
